Job Description
This position is the process owner for many pieces of equipment and is the backup support for many other processes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying new requirements that may require special processing or process development.
- Attend new product design reviews.
- Work with the Engineering department to develop a strategy for meeting these requirements, execute tests, and define new processes.
- Assist with target recognition and automated target acquisition at expose.
- Assist in troubleshooting quality and production issues in the Image area including but not limited to: scrap events, excessive rework, lab failures tied to image.
- Assist with reviewing and dispositioning WIP
- Assist in standardizing processes, ensuring that procedures are accurate and will meet customer requirements.
- Make recommendations on process route changes to meet customer requirements.
- Work as a liaison with operations and maintenance.
- Ensure that equipment is being properly maintained.
- Assist process engineering in the evaluation and processing of new materials.
- Work with chemical / material suppliers and customers as needed.
- Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
- This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Requirements:
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in manufacturing of printed circuit boards.
- Ability to work with limited supervision and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a team player.
- Computer experience – Basic working knowledge of computers and Microsoft office suite.
