Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This part-time position supports K-12 students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across two school sites, between Brookline and Hollis, NH. The role requires onsite presence 10-12 hours per month and is under a contract running through June 17, 2026, with a start date as soon as possible.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing specialized instruction and support to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students within the K-12 caseload
- Collaborating with school staff to implement individualized education plans
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional approaches accordingly
- Maintaining clear communication with families and school teams
Qualifications:
- Active licensure and certification to teach Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in New Hampshire
- Experience working in a school setting with this population
- Ability to work onsite at school locations between Brookline and Hollis
- District fingerprint clearance
- Participation in a Zoom interview process
