A full-time paraprofessional opportunity is available in a high school setting in Somersworth, NH, for the current school year through June 2026. This contract position offers a caseload directly supporting high school students and is perfect for candidates with experience in school environments seeking a meaningful role in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic and behavioral support to high school students
- Assist teachers in managing classroom activities and individual student needs
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success
- Collaborate with educational staff to implement instructional plans
- Monitor student progress and assist in adapting instructional materials as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience working in school settings preferred, particularly in high schools
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with students, teachers, and administration
- Patience, flexibility, and commitment to student development
- Ability to follow established protocols and maintain confidentiality
Location and Schedule:
- Somersworth, NH
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
- Weekly hours ranging from 32 to 37.5
