Job Title: Sales Associate
Job Summary:
We are looking for a career-oriented individual who is upbeat, self-motivated, has great attention to detail, is organized and possesses the ability to provide outstanding customer service. Individual must be able to work well with showroom staff, installers, designers and contractors. Resume with three references requested.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers and provide knowledgeable, friendly assistance
- Present and sell flooring materials and services to new and existing customers
- Assist with color and design details during the selection process
- Build and retain product knowledge to better serve customers
- Form individualized flooring recommendations, based on customer's lifestyle and needs
- Prospect and contact potential customers
- Address customer questions, concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
- Create sales estimates and invoices for customer review
- Maintain showroom appearance through general cleaning and showroom upkeep
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
- Strong interest or aptitude in design, color coordination and aesthetics
- Strong drive to seek and retain knowledge on all products offered
- Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with customers
- Highly detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds
- Will be required to work Saturdays but will have a day off during the week
- A positive, team-focused attitude is a MUST
- Floorcovering experience not required, but a willingness to learn product knowledge is

- 3 paid days after 6 months and 2 additional days paid (5 total) after a year
- 1 week paid vacation time after first full year of employment
