Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Special Education Teacher position supports students in grades K-12 within a dedicated public school setting. There are two openings available: one at the Elementary School and one at the High School. Both roles are contract positions for the 2025-2026 school year, running from August 28, 2025, through June 11, 2026, with an approximate weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of students with disabilities
- Provide direct instruction and support to a caseload of 12-15 students per position
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, families, and administrators to promote student success
- Monitor and document student progress in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with special education best practices
Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire Special Education (SPED) License required
- Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage caseloads and meet reporting deadlines efficiently
