Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Special Education Teachers are sought for the 20252026 school year to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position starts ASAP and continues through May 2026, offering the opportunity to work with diverse learners who have varying needs and abilities.
Position Highlights:
- Two positions available for High School Emotional Support Programs
- One position for Push-in/Pull-out services in Core Subjects
- Student needs range from mild to severe disabilities, with behavioral challenges that may vary
- Preference for candidates with experience in Emotional Disabilities
- Immediate interviews underway
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to provide inclusive instruction
- Employ strategies to address emotional and behavioral challenges effectively
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Foster a supportive and safe learning environment for students with disabilities
Qualifications:
- Certification in Special Education for K-12
- Experience working with students with emotional disabilities preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Commitment to student success and inclusive education
