Bring precision, patience, and pride to complex builds that power electro-mechanical and optical products. In this role, you’ll transform detailed specifications and visual work instructions into impeccable assemblies that directly impact product quality.

What You’ll Do

  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components to defined product specifications and visual work instructions.
  • Perform soldering under magnification on shielded cable assemblies and fine-pitch terminations, including wires-to-host connections.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment to complete intricate builds.
  • Apply robust quality practices to ensure every assembly is accurate, reliable, and compliant.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and observe cleanroom practices when required.
  • Own the quality and accuracy of your work from start to finish.

How You’ll Work

  • Reports to: Supervisor / Manager
  • Interfaces with: Inter-company personnel and cross-functional partners.
  • People managed: None; may informally guide or direct others as needed.
  • Decision-making: Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; perform a variety of complex tasks; may lead and direct the work of others.
  • Impact of error: Direct impact on product quality.

What You Bring

  • Proficiency with soldering equipment, including fine-pitch work and wires-to-host terminations.
  • Experience working in cleanroom environments and following ESD protocols.
  • Excellent knowledge of IPC-610 workmanship standards; working knowledge of IPC guidelines more broadly.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong communication skills.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced setting and the creativity to solve assembly challenges.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Optics experience preferred (e.g., assemblies incorporating lenses).
