Job Summary:
Experience the best office in the world teaching Snowsports to guests of all ages. Instructors will deliver quality snowboard instruction to groups and individuals, providing world-class guest service in a safe and fun environment.

Job Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>&nbsp;Teach group and private lessons</li>
<li>&nbsp;Work with guests of all ages, with a focus on children</li>
<li>&nbsp;Deliver world-class guest service</li>
<li>&nbsp;Create a safe and fun learning environment</li>
<li>&nbsp;Support all needs of the snow sports school: inclusive of scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment</li>
<li>&nbsp;Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong snowboarders</li>
<li>&nbsp;Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Job Requirements:
<ul>
<li>&nbsp;Must be comfortable and competent snowboarding on groomed blue terrain</li>
<li>&nbsp;Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older</li>
<li>&nbsp;Must be able to communicate fluently in English</li>
<li>&nbsp;Strong communication skills</li>
<li>&nbsp;Must be willing to work weekends/Holidays</li>
<li>&nbsp;Must be comfortable being in snowboard boots for extended period of time</li>
<li>&nbsp;Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.</li>
</ul>
As a Non-Certified Snowboard Instructor, you have the ability to be a flexible employee who works across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one-resort mentality which could include:

<li>&nbsp;Mountain Activities</li>
<li>&nbsp;Food and Beverage Support</li>
<li>&nbsp;Base Area Operations</li>
<li>&nbsp;Retail Rental Operations</li>

Additional requirements for hires under age 18:&nbsp;Submission of a Parental Consent Form upon hire, along with other applicable documents required by state law; such as a work permit, physician's note, and/or proof of birthdate.
The expected pay range is&nbsp;$20/hr - $35/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
