Full Time Opening – Manager Position
The Keene Sentinel has a full-time opening in our Mailroom for a Mailroom Foreman. This position will entail operating mailroom equipment, implementing the daily setup and perform periodic and preventative maintenance on various equipment. The foreman will also manage a department team. Equipment training is available upon hiring.
The ideal candidate is dependable, will have mechanical aptitude, maintains attention to detail and has some prior knowledge or experience with performing ongoing and periodic machine maintenance. The ability to diagnose, trouble-shoot and/or resolve problems is required. This position requires lifting a minimum of 25 lbs. and will entail manual dexterity, periods of standing, bending, pulling, twisting and/or turning. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required. Prior experience operating a forklift is helpful and working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook is a plus. Work days are Sunday evening through Friday late afternoon.
