Accounts Payable Specialist Job Responsibilities:

<li>Process high volumes of vendor invoices for goods and services into the Oracle system</li>
<li>Partner with internal departments to obtain appropriate invoice approvals</li>
<li>Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing and payment</li>
<li>Research, analyze, and validate invoices and accounting codes for accuracy</li>
<li>Handle vendor calls and resolve discrepancies promptly</li>
<li>Audit monthly T&amp;E reports, ensuring compliance with policy and following up on violations</li>
<li>Assist with overtime hours as needed during high-volume months and closings</li>
<li>Consistently ensure all work aligns with company policies, procedures, and core values</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable or finance experience</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of Oracle systems strongly preferred</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Strong results orientation with proven attention to detail and flawless execution</li>
<li>Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously</li>

 Degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably within the optical, aerospace, or defense sector. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
