We are seeking a skilled and dependable Construction Equipment Painter &amp; Detailer with mechanical aptitude to join our team. This position is responsible for prepping, painting, detailing, and assisting with light mechanical work on a variety of heavy equipment, including tractors, excavators, loaders, and more. Ideal candidates will take pride in their work, have a strong eye for detail, and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
 Key Responsibilities:

<li>Prepare surfaces of construction equipment for painting (sanding, masking, cleaning)</li>
<li>Apply primers and paint using spray equipment and other tools</li>
<li>Detail equipment for resale or customer delivery (cleaning, polishing, touch-ups)</li>
<li>Inspect finished work for quality and completeness</li>
<li>Assist with light mechanical tasks such as replacing parts, fluids, or attachments</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area</li>
<li>Operate forklifts or equipment to move machines in and out of the shop (training provided if needed)</li>
<li>Perform basic maintenance on painting tools and spray equipment</li>
<li>Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE at all times </li>

<li>Ability to mix and apply paint using HVLP or conventional spray equipment</li>
<li>Knowledge of surface prep techniques and paint safety practices</li>
<li>Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist in basic mechanical repairs</li>
<li>Attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship</li>
<li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in shop conditions (dust, heat, paint fumes)</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus but not required</li>
<li>Forklift experience is a plus (or willingness to learn)</li>
