Apply knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and apply skills in restoring equipment to operation. Provide experienced mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of Manufacturing. Scope of Position This self-starting and motivated individual, as part of the Foundry Maintenance team, will be responsible for maintaining, testing and repairing electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. They will be responsible for triaging work as needed and applying their own knowledge of electrical/electronics and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restoring equipment to operation. The Foundry Maintenance Mechanic provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of Manufacturing. This position reports to the Foundry Maintenance Supervisor, and is on site based in Franklin, NH. Standard hours are 2:10pm - 12:40am. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities 
<ul>\n
<li>Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gages and test equipment.</li>
\n
<li>Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles, writing specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment.</li>
\n
<li>Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements.</li>
\n
<li>Advises operators and line mechanics of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and components.</li>
\n
<li>Informs appropriate management and maintenance mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved.</li>
\n
<li>Maintains company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.</li>
\n
<li>Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed.</li>
\n
<li>Assists maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting and may train other members of the maintenance team.</li>
\n
<li>Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Foundry Maintenance Supervisor or Company management.</li>
\n
<li>Travel Requirements: up to 10% for training as needed</li>
\n</ul>
\n Required Qualifications 
<ul>\n
<li> 3+ years of proven experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields are required and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas.</li>
\n
<li>Computer experience/operation and PLC programming are necessary. </li>
\n
<li>Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. </li>
\n
<li>A thorough knowledge of electrical/ electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes. </li>
\n
<li>Must be able to work respectfully and professionally with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment and especially must be able to clearly interface and communicate with line operators in order to assist with repairs and troubleshooting.</li>
\n
<li>Willing to work overtime as required. </li>
\n
<li>High degree of precision working with minimum tolerances required. </li>
\n
<li>Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.</li>
\n
<li>Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.</li>

<li>Experience with cutting, welding and fabrication preferred. </li>

<li>Ability to cover other shifts preferred. </li>

\n Working Conditions: While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company's Franklin location in NH.
