Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging to support accurate diagnoses while ensuring patient safety and comfort in a clinical setting located in Rochester, NH. This contract opportunity requires expertise in MRI procedures, adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication with radiologists and other medical personnel. Flexibility to work at multiple nearby locations and local travel may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient pre-screening for contraindications and maintain strict aseptic injection techniques
- Acquire clear and diagnostic MRI images using Philips Ingenia equipment
- Order supplies, maintain cleanliness of imaging units, and assist with preparation for transport daily
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and patient coordinators
- Provide training to new MRI technologists and patient coordinators as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Valid ARRT (R), ARRT (MR), or ARMRIT certification required, along with state licensure if applicable
- Minimum 1-2 years MRI experience preferred, specifically with Philips Ingenia equipment
- CPR/AHA BLS certification mandatory
- Valid drivers license required for potential local travel
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster required
