A speech-language pathologist is sought for a contract position in an elementary school setting, located in Laconia, NH. This role focuses on providing specialized therapeutic services to students requiring speech and language support during a leave of absence. The contract runs from June 2 to November 28, offering the opportunity to work 35 hours per week with a caseload of approximately 25 students.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and therapy models.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals.

Location: Laconia, NH

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload.
• Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to support students' overall communication development.
• Maintain accurate records of students' progress and documentation as required by the school.
