A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Somersworth, NH, focusing on school-based services with a travel component. This full-time position involves providing expert support for students across diverse educational settings, including high school Life Skills and elementary levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to high school students in Life Skills programs four days per week.
- Provide specialized speech-language services to elementary school students one day per week.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with educational standards.
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique communication needs of pediatric populations within school environments.
Qualifications:
- Valid ASHA CCC-SLP certification with eligibility for state licensure.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially within school settings.
- Familiarity with speech-language therapy techniques applicable to Life Skills and elementary curricula.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.
Location:
- Somersworth, New Hampshire, with travel between educational sites as required.
Assignment Details:
