<p>Mechanic</p>
<p>This position is responsible for maintenance and repairs of vehicles and related mechanical equipment.&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>Performs New Hampshire State Safety Inspections of registered vehicles.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to understand and follow verbal, written or demonstrated instructions.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to make emergency repairs of equipment at job sites or equipment location.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Weld and modify equipment and fabricate parts and devices as necessary or as directed.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Participates in snow removal operations, when required.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong>: Completion of a high school diploma or GED and 5 to 8 years experience.&nbsp; Additional certifications needed; ASE in automotive or medium/heavy truck, EVT and NH State Safety Inspection.&nbsp; Must also possess a valid Driver’s License and have a good driving record.&nbsp; New Hampshire CDL Class B driver’s license with air brake certification and tank endorsement preferred or able to obtain within six months of hire.&nbsp;</p>
