About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the entire upcoming school year in the Goffstown, NH area. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide comprehensive speech and language services to a diverse population of students ranging from Kindergarten through 5th grade within a school setting. You will play a crucial role in supporting their communication development and academic success.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across the K-5thgrade levels.
- Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans to address a wide range of communication disorders, including articulation, phonology, language (receptive and expressive), fluency, voice, and social communication.
- Providing direct and indirect therapy services to students based on their individual needs and IEP goals.
- Collaborating effectively with teachers, parents, school psychologists, special education staff, and other educational team members.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required reports.
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing valuable SLP perspectives for students of all ages.
- Adapting therapy activities and strategies to suit the specific needs and environments of students across different grade levels and school settings.
- Staying current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification in the state of NH.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) will also be considered.
- Experience working with a K-12 student population preferred.
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and implementation across all grade levels.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
- Passion for supporting the communication development and academic success of students with diverse needs.
