An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to provide specialized SLP services within an educational setting. This role is dedicated to supporting high school students, ensuring their communication needs are effectively met and enhancing their overall educational experience.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in SLP or related field
- Current state licensure as a SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with high school students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
Location:
- Goffstown, NH
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff
- Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
- Educate and engage families regarding speech and language development and strategies for reinforcement at home
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation
