Job Description
This is a full-time position working in our warehouse and making deliveries to job sites. This person will be working under our warehouse manager and will receive shipments and deliveries at our shop, pull materials from our warehouse and yard and make daily deliveries to jobsites in New Hampshire. This person will also help maintain cleanliness and organization of our warehouse, yard and parking lot including basic landscaping and snow removal.
Pay Range: $18.00 - $23.00/hour along with a comprehensive benefits package
Experience/Certifications Required:
- NH Driver’s License and clean driving record
- D.O.T. Medical Card (We can help to obtain this)
- Fork Truck License (We can help to obtain this)
- Lull License (We can help to obtain this)
- Preferably some experience working in a warehouse or stockroom environment.
- Preferably basic Knowledge of Plumbing & HVAC parts and fittings
- Must have strong time management and organizational skills.
- Familiar with GPS and route planning
Work Environment: Typical warehouse and shop yard environment, frequent bending, reaching, and lifting of 30-100lbs
Work Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Key Duties:
- Receive and unload daily material and equipment deliveries, either by hand or with a fork truck.
- Check in deliveries to make sure they are correct and there is no damage.
- Label and organize deliveries so they are tagged for the proper project.
- Organize and maintain appropriate shop stock/inventory.
- Receive and pull daily job orders from our inventory and organize on the appropriate job shelf.
- Pull materials lists turned in or called in by field foremen.
- Box and organize materials on the appropriate job shelf.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop/warehouse and yard
- Clean and sweep shop
- Maintain property landscaping including mowing, fertilizing, and mulching.
- Clean snow from walkways
- Maintain an organized tool crib and tool log.
- Make sure all tools are well maintained and in safe and working condition.
- Fill tool requests called in by the field foremen. If the tool is not available in the shop this will require locating the required tool from another project or truck.
- Make daily deliveries to various job sites to deliver tools and materials and pick up tools and materials. Ensuring all loads are safely secured for transporting including proper loading and unloading. Safely operate company vehicles when delivering.
- Make daily trips to vendors and supply houses to pick up materials.
