Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) Middle School Setting (1:1 Level)
Location: Derry, NH
Position Type: Contract School Year plus Summer Coverage
This opportunity seeks a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide specialized 1:1 nursing care for two middle school students. The role bines school year responsibilities with summer coverage, ensuring consistent health support tailored to the students' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care to two students in a middle school environment, addressing individual health plans and emergency needs.
- Monitor and document students health status throughout the school day.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student well-being.
- Maintain confidential health records according to policies and regulations.
- Provide coverage during the school year (Monday to Friday) and for four weeks in summer (July 7 - July 28, Monday through Thursday).
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN or LVN license.
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred.
- Ability to provide 1:1 nursing care with attention to detail and passion.
- Strong organizational and munication skills.
- Knowledge of school healthcare protocols and emergency procedures.
Schedule:
- School Year: Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM.
- Summer: Monday through Thursday, 4 hours per day (exact hours to be confirmed).
