Our client, a leading organization in the nutritional supplement industry, is seeking a Sr Nutrition Scientist to join their team. As a Sr Nutrition Scientist, you will be part of the Scientific and Product Development department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a passion for scientific research, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Sr Nutrition Scientist
Location: Remote
Pay Range: $40-$50 per hour
Duration: 6-8 months
Shift: 8 am - 5 pm flexible
What's the Job?
- Provide scientific and technical guidance on product formulations, labeling, and advertising claims
- Support new product development and reformulation based on current science and trends
- Contribute to consumer-facing materials and external communications with scientific insights
- Respond to scientific inquiries and curate an organized library of scientific information
- Monitor and analyze new scientific research related to dietary supplements and ingredients
What's Needed?
- Master’s degree or equivalent in life sciences, Biochemistry, or Nutritional Science; PhD and/or RD certification preferred
- Strong background in physiology and nutrition science
- Proven skills in analyzing scientific research and study design
- Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence project outcomes
