The Analytics and Informatics Specialist supports the clinical, administrative and financial operations of CLM, generating and utilizing data to inform decision making and enhance efficiencies. Working closely with Information Technology, Finance, and the Quality and Compliance Departments, the Analytics and Informatics Specialist develops and maintains systems and reporting that is timely, accurate and efficient. This position works closely with internal and external stake holders and entities to assure reporting requirements are met and data is used in an actionable fashion.


The candidate selected for this position will need to start fully on-site at our Derry, NH office, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid schedule after a period of time.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize, review and analyze available data to improve understanding, identify inefficiencies, and propose options and opportunities for improvement to supervisor and other designated leadership for clinical, administrative and financial operations.
  • Review and analyze existing data collection processes, reports, and existing report utilization to improve data reliability and validity, developing and communicating actionable data.
  • Coordinating and directing meetings with clinical and administrative operational staff targeting the collection of relevant data to identify and understand concerns associated with identified improvement goals (e.g. Quality Reporting, Capitation Reimbursement, MOE compliance, operational KPIs, BBH reporting).
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of Agency strategic and operational goals and objectives.
  • Support clinical directors and administrative/financial managers (financial, information technology and practice management), realizing designated operational objectives requiring informatics support.
  • Monitor service utilization; report on trends, outliers and outcomes to inform clinical and administrative decision making.
  • Provide PMPM (per member per month) and MOE monthly reporting reconciliation, related analysis and providing options and recommendations to supervisors and other designated leadership on opportunities to improve compliance.
  • Maintain and enhance monitoring and reporting systems related to changes or loss of state eligibility status from month to month on the MCO membership files to initiate rapid response in verifying, correcting and/or re-establishing appropriate eligibility.
  • Assist in the development and coordination of staff Clinical Informatics-related trainings.
  • Independently develops and implements ongoing training programs for new employees as well as ongoing training for all employees and managers to ensure up to date knowledge relevant to data management, and operational information and analytics.
  • Project management including coordination and planning with clinical and administrative operational staff targeting reporting deployment, utilization, and analysis, developing materials and providing training to involved staff to use developed reports (e.g. Quality Reporting, MOE compliance, operational KPIs).
  • Work with information technology staff to improve development, deployment, and utilization of information through technology tools. Collaboratively develop and implement identified and agreed upon functional improvements including developed input (e.g. user screens) and output (e.g. available reports) mechanisms.
  • Other duties and responsibilities consistent with the employee’s education, training, or experience deemed necessary for the optimization of CLM’s informatics program.

The Center for Life Management has partnered with New England College to offer a Master’s Degree! This is an exciting opportunity for CLM staff to earn a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MS) degree in 3 years.

Who’s Eligible and What’s Required:

  • Must be a regular, full-time CLM employee in good standing for 9 months or more.
  • Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Must agree to a five (5) year commitment of full-time employment in good standing with the Center for Life Management (beginning from start date/year of Professional Development Program participation).
  • Participants must maintain a B average to continue participation in the program.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred in related field, additional training and/or certification in informatics preferred.
  2. Experience: Relevant professional experience, preferably in a behavioral health treatment setting.
