Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled Imaging professional with expertise in X-ray to provide essential radiologic services in a well-equipped, supportive environment. This contract role offers a dynamic work schedule primarily on weekdays with a rotating weekend shift every fourth week.
Location:Situated in Derry, NH, this position serves a facility associated with a major medical center in Manchester, NH, known for its comprehensive healthcare services and advanced radiology department.
Schedule/Hours:
- Weekdays: 9:30 AM 6:00 PM
- Rotating every 4th weekend: 6:00 AM 4:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging procedures including fluoroscopy and X-rays using advanced equipment such as Philips, Siemens, and GE C-arms, as well as Canon and Siemens X-ray rooms.
- Operate portable units like Carestream with newer GE models anticipated.
- Utilize the Allscripts documentation system for accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate effectively with a team of technologists and support staff to ensure quality patient care.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must have current Basic Life Support certification.
- NH state radiologic technologist license required.
- ARRT (R) certification is necessary.
- Proven experience in operating in OR and performing fluoroscopy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
