Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support K-8 students within a dynamic school environment in Plymouth, NH. This contract position spans from February 23, 2026, through the end of the school year, offering 35 hours per week working closely with a diverse caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of 15 students, supporting their individual educational needs.
- Deliver additional OT support to approximately 12 students through Response to Intervention (RTI) services.
- Conduct group therapy sessions collaboratively with Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals and educational objectives.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience working in K-8 school settings.
- Understanding of school-based occupational therapy practices and Response to Intervention models.
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet the needs of children across diverse developmental levels.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively work with students, families, and school personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload and document services efficiently.
