Job DescriptionOccupational Therapist (Day Shift)Location: Laconia, NH, 03246Duration: 13-weekShift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMGuaranteed Hours: 35 hours per weekWeekly Pay Rate: $1,610 - $1,750; (Negotiable based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions to develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide therapy to improve motor skills, coordination, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Utilize therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology to enhance patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and strategies for continued progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulations.
Required Requirements:
- Education: Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy with a minimum of a Master’s Degree in OT.
- License: Active OT license.
- Experience: 1+ year of occupational therapy experience.
- Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
