Dover Chevrolet, an International Cars, Ltd., Inc. Company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee our service department and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment. This role is crucial in managing service operations, enhancing team performance, and driving sales while maintaining exceptional customer service standards

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Supervise and mentor service technicians, providing guidance on automotive diagnostics, repair processes, and best practices.
- Oversee auto estimating processes to ensure accurate pricing and timely completion of services.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, provide recommendations for vehicle maintenance and repairs, and address any concerns.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and exceptional service writing skills.
- Monitor performance metrics to evaluate team productivity and implement strategies for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the service department.
- Assist in aligning departmental goals with overall business objectives to drive sales growth.
Requirements:
- Previous management or supervisory experience is required
- Proven experience in automotive diagnostics and repair is essential
- Strong background in customer service with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.
- Experience in sales within the automotive industry is desirable.
- Proficiency in using automotive software for estimating and service management.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record acceptable to ICL Insurance Company requirements
