A contract opening is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services in an educational setting. This role requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, starting ASAP through June 14, 2023. Candidates should have certification and experience in pediatric speech-language pathology and be prepared to work in various school environments.
Key qualifications include:
- Certification as an SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience in pediatric speech-language services, especially within school or healthcare settings
- Eligibility or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Ability to work collaboratively with educational teams to support diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to children across multiple school settings, either full-time or part-time as assigned
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote speech and language development
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in ongoing service evaluation
- Adapt to varied schedules across locations, with flexibility to support multiple schools as needed
