Position Summary:
As a Service Advisor/Dispatcher, you’ll be the vital link between our customers and technicians. You’ll greet clients, understand their vehicle concerns, schedule repairs and maintenance, and dispatch work efficiently to our technicians to ensure timely service. This dual role requires strong communication skills, a good grasp of vehicle systems, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and accurately document vehicle concerns and service needs.
• Provide clear estimates, explain services and repairs, in a professional manner.
• Coordinate and dispatch repair orders to technicians based on skill level and availability.
• Monitor work progress to ensure timely completion and keep customers updated.
• Review completed work with customers and process payments.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
• Help manage workflow to optimize technician productivity and bay efficiency.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in an automotive service advisor or dispatcher role.
• Strong automotive knowledge and understanding of repair processes.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive under pressure.
• Proficiency with shop management software (e.g., RO Writer, Mitchell, Shop-Ware).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
