A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought for an exciting opportunity within an elementary school setting serving grades K-5. This contract position spans the full school year, offering a flexible schedule of three days per week. The role involves servicing two elementary schools with a caseload of 25-30 students in need of specialized speech-language support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
- Develop individualized goals tailored to the needs of each student.
- Lead and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students.
- Manage an itinerant caseload across two school locations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Vermont SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working in elementary educational settings is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Location:
- Based in an elementary school environment in Orford, NH, with travel required between two schools.
