Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Manager to join our team in a remote capacity, specializing in S-Corp taxation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax compliance and planning, particularly for S-Corporations, and will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality tax services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee tax compliance and reporting for S-Corporations.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients.
- Review and prepare complex tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct tax research and provide advisory services to clients on various tax matters.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide guidance on tax-related issues.
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing training and support as needed.
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure the firms practices are compliant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, with a focus on S-Corporations.
- Proficiency in tax software, particularly CCH Axcess Tax and SurePrep.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance for S-Corps and partnerships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Experience with High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) and automotive industry taxation is a plus.
