We are looking for the newest member to join our Family Medicine team as a Patient Care Technician!
This position provides patient care and operational support. These integral team members will transport patients within the facility, perform EKGs, obtain vital signs and place patients on monitoring equipment (ECG, BP, pulse oximeter), perform phlebotomy, assist w/splinting, crutch teaching, wound care, spirometry, assist with in-office exams, procedures and documentation. Other duties include stocking patient care areas, equipment set-up, cleaning and preparing treatment spaces, order entry, reception tasks, and prior authorizations/pre-certifications as required.
High school diploma or equivalent education. NH Medical Technician Registry required, and if not already registered, must apply for registration prior to date of hire. BLS certified. Two years experience in ambulance service or ambulatory care preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology. Phlebotomy experience; EKG experience; and EMT certification, LNA or Medical Assistant certification preferred.
