•Troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain highly complex production equipment and building support equipment (i.e., automated, computerized, numerically controlled, pneumatic and/or hydraulic).
•Schedule and perform the repairs and maintenance of the facility plumbing, electricity, air conditioning, construction and etc. Coordinate service with outside contractors when needed.
•Develop preventative maintenance and repair procedures to expedite timely repairs and reduce loss of production time.
•Obtain and maintain documentation for equipment.
•Analyze service data and information to determine future trends and make appropriate recommendations regarding replacement of or major rebuild to equipment.
•Work with Original Equipment Manufacturers to troubleshoot and repair issues.
•Must be a US Person as defined by 22 CFR 120.15 (Citizen, Permanent Resident)
•Ability to read, understand and apply knowledge of blueprints and technical manuals
•Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical/mechanical maintenance and repair techniques
•Comfortable working with live electrical systems using proper Personal Protective Equipment (Arc Flash) up to 480V
•Familiarity with various meters (i.e., DMM, Ammeter, Oscilloscope, etc)
•Knowledge of LOTO procedures for locking out all potential sources of energy
•Organizational and Computer skills are essential
•High school diploma or equivalent degree
•Minimum 2+ years of practical experience working with production equipment and building support equipment. Prior experience troubleshooting and servicing CNC (computer numerical control) machinery / equipment preferred
•Electrical license a plus.
•Experience with PLC/Ladder Logic a plus
•Wear respiratory PPE (i.e. respirator)
•Use hands and fingers fully; reach for, manipulate, and feel objects; stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
•Climb and maintain body balance on ladders, scaffolding, or high structures; and see and hear well (either naturally or with correction)
•Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
•Stoop, lay, bend or squat for extended periods of time
